1) Idioms related to: Speaking Generally - as a rule, as usual, the exception proves the rule / an exception to the rule, for the most part

2) International Trade

Una empresa que considere exportar deberá tener en mente los siguientes factores: la necesidad de una administración interna sana, la competencia, la adecuación del (de los) producto(s), el precio para los nuevos clientes, la elección de los medios para exportar, los cambios en los canales de distribución, y las reglas y reglamentaciones que rigen el comercio internacional.

Al mismo tiempo, puede ser recomendable que la administración reorganice la empresa en función de su actividad exportadora. A firm considering exporting will have to bear in mind the following: the necessity for sound internal management, the competition, the appropriateness of the product(s), the price for the new customers, media choice, changes in distribution channels, and the rules and regulations governing international trade.

At the same time, it may be advisable for management to reorganize the firm around its export activity. In its simplest form, this may lead to the creation of an export department, or the establishment of a branch office in the foreign market, through which the firm's products are sold.

In its most complete form, the firm can provide direct foreign investment to set up subsidiaries with both production and marketing capabilities.
